Analysis of Single Coil PM-BLDC Motor
The aim of the paper is FEM analysis of single coil BLDC motor operated as drive of small piston pump. The paper contains analysis of design, distribution of magnetic field, forces and torque under static and dynamic conditions. Voltages, currents, signals waveforms are also given as the results of analysis. The cogging torque and total torque are discussed in the paper.
متن کاملFinite Element Method Simulation and Comparison of a Segmented-PM Motor and a Whole-PM motor
A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with rotor embedded segmented permanent magnet was analyzed. The structural features and flux weakening principle are introduced. The shape of the rotor is optimized to get a sinusoidal air gap magnetic density waveform and reduce the toque ripple. The whole-permanent-magnet (PM) motor and the segmented-permanent-magnet motor are compared from the asp...
متن کاملVoltage Control of PM Synchronous Motor Driven PM Synchronous Generator System Using Recurrent Wavelet Neural Network Controller
In this paper the two novel recurrent wavelet neural network (RWNN) controllers are proposed for controlling output direct current (DC) voltage of the rectifier and output alternate current (AC) voltage of the inverter. The output power of the rectifier and the inverter is provided by three-phase permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) system directly-driven by permanent magnet synchronou...
متن کاملMATLAB Simulation of Single-Phase SCR Controller for Single Phase Induction Motor
Thyristors are now widely used in many power electronics and motors drives applications. This is due to their several advantages such as relatively small size, low losses, market availability, and low cost. In this paper, a stator voltage control of single-phase induction motor using thyristors is analyzed and simulated. The stator voltage has been controlled by phase angle control of single-ph...
متن کاملInfluence of Design Parameters on the Starting Torque of a Single-Phase PM Brushless DC Motor
The starting torque of a single-phase permanent magnet brushless dc motor is investigated, for both radial and parallel magnetization. Finite element analysis is used to assess the relative merits of alternative methods of introducing the required airgap asymmetry, viz. tapered airgap, stepped airgap, asymmetric airgap, and slotted teeth. The predicted results are validated experimentally.
