Single-Conductor Transmission-Line Model for Bent Wire Structures

چکیده

A bend in a single-conductor line is primary cause of radiation associated with the antenna mode; conversely, fed back, resulting attenuation and distortion current waveform. Despite being fundamental phenomenon, its dynamics have not been sufficiently characterized. Therefore, this study presents transmission-line model for bent wire structures comprising multiple straight elements by using local variables charge per-unit-length along thin conductor. The proposed validated over wide frequency range method moments. total distributions that an external field induces on structure are classified into three components: scattering source distribution, traveling wave corresponding to Sommerfeld mode, reaction. These components suggest overall field-line coupling process: initially, electromagnetic structure, which turn drives radiation-reaction currents at ends, propagation accompanied losses. presented advantageous designing phenomena antennas metamaterials addressing interference problems passive circuit elements. case makes use precise descriptive included predict emissions mode around bend.

Transmission Line Conductor Galloping Analysis using FEM

To find a mathematical standard of the galloping mechanism, and it is required to compare the existing mathematical standards on the conductor galloping. In this paper, using the Hamilton principle the continuum cable standard for transmission lines was proposed. Discrete standards of one degree of freedom, two degree of freedom, and three degree of freedom were obtained from the Garlekin funct...

Multi-conductor transmission line model for electrified railways: A method for including responses of lumped devices

For studying the response to transients caused by lightning and other electromagnetic disturbance sources, electrified railway systems can be represented as a system of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) above a finitely conducting ground. The conductors present in this system would be wires for traction power supply, auxiliary power, return conductors for traction current, the tracks, and...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
