چکیده
•We simulated orthodontic tooth movement for correction of Class II Division 2 malocclusion. •A newly designed closing loop combined with a gable bend was studied. 5° produced lingual crown tipping the central incisor. 10° bodily incisor and distal first molar. 15° root Introduction Although many attempts have been made to study mechanical behavior loops, most limited analyses magnitude forces moments acting on end loop. The objectives this were simulate during activation investigate optimal condition achieve desired movement. Methods We constructed 3-dimensional model maxillary dentition reproducing state wherein looped archwire engaged in brackets tubes. Orthodontic movements both anterior posterior teeth while varying degree using finite element method. Results incorporation into bends movement, respectively, Conclusions Torque control anchorage can be carried out effectively simply by reducing half thickness teardrop height 10 mm 0.019 × 0.025-in cross-section, distance 3 from its apex, incorporating various degrees corresponding treatment plan.

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Finite element method analysis of the tooth movement induced by orthodontic forces.
The finite element method is a useful technique for measuring structural stress and for movement analyses. The objective of this investigation was to get a more accurate estimation of tooth movement depending on application point when a tipping orthodontic force is applied. The three-dimensional model of un upper canine, consisting of 4,000 hexahedron elements with 2,367 nodes was obtained. Hor...
