Shouldn ’ t there be an antithesis to quantization ? Eric
We raise the possibility of developing a theory of constructing quantum dynamical observables independent from quantization and deriving classical dynamical observables from pure quantum mechanical consideration. We do so by giving a detailed quantum mechanical derivation of the classical time of arrival at arbitrary arrival points for a particle in one dimension.
متن کاملKnowing Afghanistan: Can there be an end to the saga?
War on terrorism, as the motto which formed the cornerstone of global policies of former neo-conservative administration of the United States, is increasingly becoming ineffective in Afghanistan with the dreaded consequence of spilling over into Pakistan. This inevitable consequence of War on Terrorism in Afghanistan has brought the West face to face with the ‘nest of terrorism’ that CIA...

متن کاملThere is no “ first ” quantization
The appearance of spinor fields as operators or arguments of field functionals in quantum field theory is often regarded as a second quantization, since fermion wave functions were themselves discovered by quantizing mass points (" particles "). I argue that this language, though reflecting the historical development, is misleading. Field amplitudes always represent the true physical variables ...
