چکیده
Accurate measurement of the radiative properties clouds and aerosols is great significance to global climate change numerical weather prediction. The multi-angle polarization imager (MAPI) onboard Fengyun-3 precipitation satellite, planned be launched in 2023, will provide multi-angle, multi-shortwave infrared (SWIR) channels multi-polarization satellite observation aerosols. MAPI operates a non-sun-synchronized inclined orbit provides images with spatial resolution 3 km (sub-satellite) swath 700 km. include 1030 nm, 1370 1640 nm corresponding non-polarization channels, which information from 14 angles. In-flight radiometric polarimetric calibration strategies are introduced, aiming achieve accuracy 5% 2%. Simulation experiments show that has some unique advantages characterizing For cloud observation, phase functions around scattering angle cloudbow strong sensitivity droplet radius effective variance. In addition, polarized higher content for aerosol than VIS-NIR. Additionally, geometry non-sun-synchronous orbits can more expanded Thus, new SWIR channel optimize state identification microphysical parameter inversion, as well retrieval results obtained simulations support design next generation imagers China.

This study validated and investigated elevation- and frequency-dependent systematic biases observed in ground-based code measurements of the Chinese BeiDou navigation satellite system, using the onboard BeiDou code measurement data from the Chinese meteorological satellite Fengyun-3C. Particularly for geostationary earth orbit satellites, sky-view coverage can be achieved over the entire elevat...
متن کاملGPS and BeiDou Differential Code Bias Estimation Using Fengyun-3C Satellite Onboard GNSS Observations
Differential code biases (DCBs) are important parameters in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) applications such as positioning as well as ionosphere remote sensing. In comparison to the conventional approach, which utilizes ground-based observations and parameterizes global ionosphere maps together with DCBs, a method is presented for GPS and BeiDou system (BDS) satellite DCB estimation...
متن کاملA Solid-State Hyperspectral Imager for Real-time Standoff Explosives Detection using Shortwave Infrared Imaging
We present a new and innovative short-wave infrared (SWIR) hyperspectral imaging focal plane array (FPA) concept for bulk and trace standoff explosives detection. The proposed technology combines conventional uncooled InGaAs based SWIR imaging with the wavelength selectivity of a monolithically integrated solid-state Fabry-Perot interferometer. Each pixel of the array consists of a group of sub...

Our recent work has showed that diffractively coupled nanoplasmonic arrays for Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) microspectroscopy can enhance the Amide I protein vibrational stretch by up to 10(5) times as compared to plain substrates. In this work we consider computationally the impact of a microscope objective illumination cone on array performance. We derive an approach for computing angula...
