Short-range antiferromagnetic interaction and spin-phonon coupling in La2CoMnO6 double perovskite

Weak antiferromagnetic (AFM) interaction in the ferromagnetic (FM) partially ordered La 2 CoMnO 6 (LCMO) was detected by Raman spectroscopy monitoring spin-phonon coupling. Because of sensibility to probe short-range disorder and lattice modifications, showed be an useful tool indicate less remarkable magnetic transitions LCMO compound. Apart from expected coupling due long-range FM superexchange (Tc ?230 K), phonons parameters pointed out additional related AFM at Tc ?135 K, which not bulk response. These results reinforce as a powerful technique detect antisite into A B?B’’O double perovskites, whose properties are driven interactions.

We report an application of low-temperature Raman scattering on in-plane CuO nanowires, in which an overview of the characteristic parameter of spin-phonon coefficient, the interaction of incident light with the spin degrees of freedom, and size effects will be given.
