چکیده

Ship detection based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery is one of the key applications for maritime security. Compared with single-channel SAR images, polarimetric (PolSAR) data contains fully-polarized information, which better facilitates discriminating between targets, sea clutter, and interference. Therefore, many ship methods scattering mechanism have been studied. To deal false alarms caused by existence ghost resulting from azimuth ambiguities interference side lobes, a modified notch filter (PNF) proposed PolSAR detection. In method, third eigenvalue obtained eigenvalue–eigenvector decomposition covariance matrix utilized to construct new feature vector. Then, target power can be computed PNF detector. On hand, rate targets enhanced target-to-clutter contrast. other lobes reduced an extent. Experimental results three C-band AIRSAR datasets demonstrated capability detector improve performance while reducing alarms. specific, figure merit (FoM) method highest among comparative approaches 80%, 100%, 100% tested datasets, respectively.

Object-oriented Change Detection Based on Weighted Polarimetric Scattering Difference on Polsar Images

For wide application of change detection with SAR imagery, current processing technologies and methods are mostly based on pixels. It is difficult for pixel-based technologies to utilize spatial characteristics of images and topological relations of objects. Object-oriented technology takes objects as processing unit, which takes advantage of the shape and texture information of image. It can g...

Ship Detection in Polarimetric SAR Based on Support Vector Machine

In this study, we propose a Support Vector Machine (SVM) based method for ship detection in polarimetric SAR (POLSAR). Because of similarities of ship and man-made structures on land in scattering mechanisms, land and sea are first segmented by SVM according to polarimetric features and texture features; The SVM-based Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE-SVM) approach is adopted to improve the pe...

Classification of polarimetric radar images based on SVM and BGSA

Classification of land cover is one of the most important applications of radar polarimetry images. The purpose of image classification is to classify image pixels into different classes based on vector properties of the extractor. Radar imaging systems provide useful information about ground cover by using a wide range of electromagnetic waves to image the Earthchr('39')s surface. The purpose ...
