چکیده
As the “traditional” mid-band frequencies of sub-6 GHz get allocated for various services, there has been increasing focus on 7–24 band next generation terrestrial mobile wireless systems to find a home in. On May 18, 2023, U.S. Federal Communication Commission (FCC) voted unanimously adopt new rules 12.2-13.25 that would permit such services in part band, 12.7-13.25 GHz, while seeking input sharing options 12.2-12.7 [1]. This column will provide brief overview recent developments 12 GHz.

Q-band VCO for 77-GHz in
This paper includes Q-band VCO power injection-locked buffer for 77-GHz FM in 0.13-μm CMOS process. The center frequen VCO is 34.75-GHz with 1.6% tuning range. T noise performance shows -102.43 dBc/Hz frequency. The measured maximum single ou dBm and the ideal differential output power is dBm, owing to the injection-locked buffer w capability. The fabricated chip size is 0.51 × 0.1 consumption ...
متن کاملA 2-12 GHz Low Noise Amplifier Design for Ultra Wide Band Applications
Problem statement: The Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) is a core block of an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) receiver since it amplifies a very weak signal received at the antenna to acceptable levels while introducing less self-generated noise and distortions. The LNA design poses a unique challenge as it requires simultaneous optimization of various performance parameters like power gain, input matching, noi...
متن کاملDISSERTATION The Vehicular Radio Channel in the 5 GHz Band
In this thesis I present a methodology, in order to characterize the time-variant vehicular radio channel. The radio channel is part of the communication system, which the engineer cannot influence. Therefore it has to be characterized in a way that the transmitters and receivers can be well designed, for specific applications. For this characterization we carried out two vehicular radio channe...
متن کاملCoexistence and Sharing Studies of Collocated and Non- Collocated Fourth Generation Networks in the 2.6 Ghz Band
Lots of fourth generation (4G) wireless networks are currently being deployed globally with similar or with dissimilar technologies in various operating bands. In this paper, spectrum sharing and coexistence scenarios of the 4th generation networks in the band (2500-2690) MHz are addressed. Interferences from Long Term Evolution (LTE) to Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) s...
متن کاملOutdoor-indoor propagation measurements in the 3.6-4.2 GHz band
The purpose of the present work is to analyse an outdoor-indoor radio link (external transmitter, inner receiver), with the aim of estimating the impact of the hazardous effects on a transmitted impulsive signal at a frequency of 4 GHz. The necessary instrumentation and premises for the execution of experiment have been kindly provided in part by the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni and in part by the Ad...
