Shape design of an artificial pump-lung using high-resolution hemodynamic simulation with high-performance computing

چکیده
Accurate and fast prediction of the hemodynamics artificial pump-lung is critical in design process. In this study, a comprehensive computational framework, including sliding mesh method, coupled free flow porous media model, hemolysis [Formula: see text] shear stress transport turbulence solution algorithms, introduced to accurately predict velocity field, pressure heads, hemolysis. The framework used do shape an on supercomputer. High-resolution simulation results are obtained analyzed, parallel performance algorithm studied. numerical indicate that proposed capable predicting hemolysis, designed meets biocompatibility requirements. Additionally, demonstrate potential efficiently perform pump-lungs using large number processors.
