Shaft Design for Electric Go-kart

This article presents the results of work related to design, analysis, and manufacturing shaft for an electric go-kart. Works considered stiffness various conditions affecting vehicle while driving. In previous stage project, motor gear transmission were selected. The main goal this case study was design 10 kW rear driving axle go-kart is not equipped with a differential. equal rotational speed two wheels causes that occurs skidding greater forces acting on driver when cornering. We considering types – full drilled. first one provides stiffness, second “softer”. analysis allowed selection more appropriate shaft, then its manufacture assembly in vehicle.
