In this paper, we first analyze the horizon structure of Van der Waals (VdW) black hole and then investigate its shadow in absence a plasma medium as well presence homogeneous medium. We find that both parameters b have significant effect on hole. also observe radius increases when parameter σ=ωpω∞ (the ratio frequency photon frequency) inhomogeneous is larger than vacuum discuss strong gravitational lensing sphere radius, deflection limit coefficients angle field are highly affected by with greater Vacuum Further, observable quantities angular position θ∞, separation S magnification rmag taking example supermassive M87∗ context compared to other ordinary such Schwarzschild Ads effects plasma. It concluded a, shadows lensing. further can be quantitatively distinguished from via observations.
