Serological testing for antibodies against canine parvovirus in a population of adult dogs in eastern Poland

The aim of the study was to determine titre antibodies against canine parvovirus in groups adult dogs from eastern Poland with a varied history vaccination parvovirus. 200 divided into three were included study. first group (n = 59) consisted subjects regularly vaccinated disease according WSAVA guidelines. second 77) animals that completed full course CPV immunisation as puppies but had not received booster dose past years. third 64) even single Blood collected all titres using Bionote V200 analyser (VetExpert). In I, antibody equal or higher than HI 80, thought ensuring resistance infection observed 86% dogs, while 14% tested <80. II and III, high anti-CPV > 80 found 73% 72% respectively. large number positive seroreactants indicates immunogenicity vaccine field strains common occurrence environment.
