چکیده

Persistent scatterer interferometry (PSI) is a group of advanced interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) techniques used to measure and monitor terrain deformation. Sentinel-1 has improved the data acquisition throughout and, compared previous sensors, increased considerably differential SAR (DInSAR) PSI deformation monitoring potential. The low density persistent (PS) in non-urban areas critical issue DInSAR inspired development alternative approaches refinement PS chains. This paper proposes two different complementary data-driven procedures obtain maps. These aim exploit highly coherent interferograms their short revisit time. first approach, called direct integration (DI), aims at providing very fast straightforward approach screen-wide easily detects active areas. fully exploits from consecutive images provided by Sentinel-1, resulting high sampling density. However, it lacks robustness its usability lays on operator experience. second method, geomatics (PSIG) temporal baseline, provides constrained application PSIG chain, CTTC PSI. It uses baseline does not assume any model for point selection. also quite which improves performances standard increasing robust measurements. effectiveness illustrated through analyses performed test sites.

The 2015-2016 Ground Displacements of the Shanghai Coastal Area Inferred from a Combined COSMO-SkyMed/Sentinel-1 DInSAR Analysis

In this work, ground deformation of the Shanghai coastal area is inferred by using the multiple-satellite Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar interferometry (DInSAR) approach, also known as the minimum acceleration (MinA) combination algorithm. The MinA technique allows discrimination and time-evolution monitoring of the inherent two-dimensional components (i.e., with respect to east-west and...

Planetary LakeLander - A Robotic Sentinel to Monitor Remote Lakes

The Planetary Lake Lander Project is studying the impact of rapid deglaciation at a high altitude alpine lake in the Andes, where disrupted environmental, physical, chemical, and biological cycles result in newly emerging natural patterns. The solar powered Lake Lander robot is designed to monitor the lake system and characterize both baseline characteristics and impacts of disturbance events s...

Clinical and Laboratory Approaches to Hemophilia A

Hemophilia A is a worldwide disorder of coagulation system. It is a male disorder, yet females with hemophilia are rarely seen in communities with high rate of consanguineous marriages. The abnormalities in factor VIII gene transfer as an X-linked pattern in the family, affects as many as one-third of patients who had no family history of abnormality and thus the occurrence of a sporadic mutati...

Methodology for Detection and Interpretation of Ground Motion Areas with the A-DInSAR Time Series Analysis

Recent improvement to Advanced Differential Interferometric SAR (A-DInSAR) time series quality enhances the knowledge of various geohazards. Ground motion studies need an appropriate methodology to exploit the great potential contained in the A-DInSAR time series. Here, we propose a methodology to analyze multi-sensors and multi-temporal A-DInSAR data for the geological interpretation of areas ...
