چکیده
Abstract Quinoa ( Chenopodium quinoa Will.) is an annual herbaceous Andean plant. In recent years there a growing interest on it due to its high quality as food, wide adaptation agroecological conditions and resistance different abiotic stresses. this work, we evaluate the growth pattern of plants cv. ‘Titicaca’, subjected levels salinity, focusing leaf production nutrient content. sense, results have shown that concentration salinity negatively affects plants. fact, grown with 200 mM NaCl reduced photosynthetic rate chlorophylls carotenoids in comparison rest treatments. Likewise, has been proven how progressive increase negative effects transpiration, stomatal conductance rate, significant subsequent reductions shoot biomass, area adquisition, but without decline dry weight (DW) production. However, treatment demonstrated best regarding water-use efficiency, well number saline glands. According our results, plant ‘Titicaca’ seems be tolerant moderate concentrations (50–100 NaCl). This study could serve reference little known cultivated species Mediterranean region, since become alternative crop areas problems.

Physiological Response of Quinoa to Nitrogen Application under Salinity Conditions
Salinity stress is one of the major abiotic stresses which injures plants by limited water absorption and nutrient imbalance and limits crop growth. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on physiological traits of quinoa at high salt concentrations, a greenhouse experiment was conducted in a factorial arrangement based on a randomized complete block with three replications in 2019...
متن کاملIonic and osmotic relations in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) plants grown at various salinity levels
Ionic and osmotic relations in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) were studied by exposing plants to six salinity levels (0-500 mM NaCl range) for 70 d. Salt stress was administered either by pre-mixing of the calculated amount of NaCl with the potting mix before seeds were planted or by the gradual increase of NaCl levels in the irrigation water. For both methods, the optimal plant growth and ...

Sugar baby) was grafted on to the hybrid rootstocks of shintozwa (Cucurbita maxima×Cucurbita moschata), pe...
متن کاملQuinoa Seed Quality Response to Sodium Chloride and Sodium Sulfate Salinity
Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is an Andean crop with an edible seed that both contains high protein content and provides high quality protein with a balanced amino acid profile in embryonic tissues. Quinoa is a halophyte adapted to harsh environments with highly saline soil. In this study, four quinoa varieties were grown under six salinity treatments and two levels of fertilization, and t...
