چکیده
AbstractIn this paper, we study local stable/unstable sets of sensitive homeomorphisms with the shadowing property defined on compact metric spaces. We prove that always contain a and perfect subset space. As corollary, generalize results in [Artigue et al. Beyond topological hyperbolicity: Lshadowing property, J. Differ. Equ. 268(6) (2020), pp. 3057–3080.] [Carvalho Cordeiro, Positively N-expansive L-shadowing Dyn. 31(2) (2019), 1005–1016.] proving positively countably expansive spaces satisfying either transitivity or can only be countable spaces. Keywords: Sensitivitystable setshadowing2010 Mathematics Subject Classifications: Primary 37D10Secondary 37B99 AcknowledgmentsWe thank Régis Varão for participating our first virtual meetings during preparation Welington Cordeiro discussions about sensitivity, anonymous referees observations improved presentation paper.Disclosure statementNo potential conflict interest was reported by author(s).Additional informationFundingBernardo Carvalho supported Progetto di Eccellenza MatMod@TOV grant number PRIN 2017S35EHN, CAPES Alexander von Humboldt Foundation under project 88881.162174/2017-1, CNPq 405916/2018-3. 15 صفحه اولActive Sets, Nonsmoothness, and Sensitivity
Nonsmoothness pervades optimization, but the way it typically arises is highly structured. Nonsmooth behavior of an objective function is usually associated, locally, with an active manifold: on this manifold the function is smooth, whereas in normal directions it is “veeshaped.” Active set ideas in optimization depend heavily on this structure. Important examples of such functions include the ...
متن کاملLeast Squares Shadowing sensitivity analysis of chaotic limit cycle oscillations
The adjoint method, among other sensitivity analysis methods, can fail in chaotic dynamical systems. The result from these methods can be too large, often by orders of magnitude, when the result is the derivative of a long time averaged quantity. This failure is known to be caused by ill-conditioned initial value problems. This paper overcomes this failure by replacing the initial value problem...
متن کاملDominating Sets and Local Treewidth
It is known that the treewidth of a planar graph with a dominating set of size d is O( √ d) and this fact is used as the basis for several fixed parameter algorithms on planar graphs. An interesting question motivating our study is if similar bounds can be obtained for larger minor closed graph families. We say that a graph family F has the domination-treewidth property if there is some functio...
متن کاملLIMIT AVERAGE SHADOWING AND DOMINATED SPLITTING
In this paper the notion of limit average shadowing property is introduced for diffeomorphisms on a compact smooth manifold M and a class of diffeomorphisms is given which has the limit average shadowing property, but does not have the shadowing property. Moreover, we prove that for a closed f-invariant set Lambda of a diffeomorphism f, if Lambda is C1-stably limit average shadowing and t...
