Sensitivity Analysis of Pipe–Soil Interaction Influencing Factors under Frost Heaving

The mechanism of pipe–soil interaction under frost heaving is complicated due to many factors affecting the system. In order analyze sensitivity various influencing and highlight relationship between pipe’s mechanical characteristics during heaving, a model based on semi-infinite elastic frozen soil foundation developed. Besides, indices characterizing influence their change law are emphatically explored. results show that pipe stress changes most obviously at transition region frost-heaving non-frost-heaving regions. equivalent increases nonlinearly with increase coefficient, linearly heave modulus pipe, decreases length wall thickness. peak temperature difference. Moreover, maximum allowable deformation oil pressure. This study helps provide theoretical reference for adjustment, control, prediction in design buried pipelines heaving.
