Sengkang City Runoff Management in Primary Drainage Channels with One Dimensional SWMM model

Abstract The main problem in Sengkang City is the occurrence of flood with a height between 0,5 to 1 m city center which an economic area, these visually caused by insufficient capacity drainage channel drain runoff water. Topographically, basin area downstream part 4 primary channels, namely channels A, B, C, and D. purpose this study was analyze existing conditions inundation volumes make modification plans reduce volume flooding City. In study, topographic measurements, data on cross-sectional elevations were carried out as well collection rainfall land use be used input for rainfall-runoff SWMM simulation that appropriate under conditions. Simulations using intensity 5-year 10-year return periods modifications made additional storage 2.000 m3 A. From results, (R5) 96.375m3 (11 areas), (R10) 148.901 (12 43.990 (9 areas) percentage decrease 70,46% 3 areas.
