The problem of generation self-sustained oscillations in the flow past a circular cylinder with splitter plate is solved numerically. We investigate both transient process and steady periodic vortex shedding behind cylinder. evolution vorticity field shown for various length plate. It demonstrated that oriented along direction significantly reduces forces applied to With increasing average drag decreases monotonically but amplitudes oscillation body change nonmonotonically. In this paper we offer our explanation phenomenon. when turning at some angle from formation no longer strictly regular periodic.
