Self-fulfilling Prophecy in Practical and Automated Prediction

Abstract A self-fulfilling prophecy is, roughly, a prediction that brings about its own truth. Although true predictions are hard to fault, prophecies often regarded with suspicion. In this article, we vindicate suspicion by explaining what and is problematic them, paying special attention how their problems exacerbated through automated prediction. Our descriptive account of articulates the four elements define them. Based on account, begin our critique showing typical arise due mistakes relationship between object. Such mistakes—along other in predicting or larger practical endeavor—are easily overlooked when turn out true. Thus note prompt no error signals; truth shrouds from humans machines alike.
