Self-consistent nanoflare heating in model active regions: MHD avalanches

چکیده

ABSTRACT Straightened cylindrical models of coronal loops have been standard for decades, and shown to support nanoflare-like heating, but the influence geometric curvature in upon heating produced has not discussed depth. Heating, its spatiotemporal distributions, associated mechanisms responsible are discussed, compared with those from straightened a loop. Previously, magnetohydrodynamic avalanches generalized curved loops, be viable. From that study, is analysed Heating seen arise processes originally instigated, yet dominated, by magnetic reconnection, producing bursty, aperiodic nanoflares, dispersed evenly throughout corona, modest bias away footpoints. One novelty arising simultaneous independent occurrence events at disjoint sites along individual strands, anticipating some features recently ‘campfires’ Solar Orbiter. With view future refinements model inclusion additional physical effects, implications this analysis discussed.

A nanoflare heating model for the quiet solar corona

The energy input into the lower solar corona by flare evaporation events has been modeled according to the available observations for quiet regions. The question is addressed whether such heating events can provide the observed average level of the coronal emission measure and thus of the observed flux of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and X-ray emission without contradicting the observed average po...

A self-consistent kinetic model for droplet heating and evaporation

A new kinetic model for heating and evaporation of Diesel fuel droplets is suggested. The model is based on the introduction of the kinetic region in the immediate vicinity of the heated and evaporating droplets, where the dynamics of molecules are described in terms of the Boltzmann equations for vapour components and air, and the hydrodynamic region. The effects of finite thermal conductivity...

A self-consistent analytical model for non-collisional heating

Non-collisional heating is an important phenomenon in low-pressure inductively coupled plasmas. In this paper, a self-consistent analytical model for non-collisional heating is developed which shows that non-collisional heating is a warm-electron effect that relies on a resonant interaction of electrons with the electromagnetic wave. Electrons with velocities comparable to the effective wave ph...

Self‐consistent inner magnetosphere simulation driven by a global MHD model

[1] We present results from a one‐way coupling between the kinetic Ring Current Atmosphere Interactions Model with Self‐Consistent B field (RAM‐SCB) and the Space Weather Modeling Framework (SWMF). RAM‐SCB obtains plasma distribution and magnetic field at model boundaries from the Block Adaptive Tree Solar Wind Roe Upwind Scheme (BATS‐R‐US) magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) model and convection potent...

Self-consistent model of fermions

Abstract: A composite model of fermions based on three-flavoured preons is presented. It is shown that the opposite character of interactions between preons leads to formation of complex structures reproducing three generations of quarks and leptons with all their quantum numbers and masses. The model is self-consistent (it doesn’t use input parameters). Nevertheless, the masses of the generate...
