Self Compassion Training to Increase Resilience in Inmates of Class II A Women's Prison in Pontianak

This study aims to test the effectiveness of self-compassion training increase resilience. The provided is based on aspects self-compassion, namely self kindness, common humanity and mindfulness. method used a quasi-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. was attended by 15 residents Class II A Women's Prison in Pontianak who have an age range 18 56 years with last education being elementary school bachelor degree. Evaluation done at level reaction, learning, behavior. Quantitative data obtained providing resilience scale as measured Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) which consists 10 items five choices answer from very inappropriate appropriate. were then analyzed using paired sample t-test (t = 3,800, p 0.002 (p < 0.05)). conclusions this indicate that effective increasing inmates Pontianak.
