Selective Implantation of Diamines for Cooperative Catalysis in Isoreticular Heterometallic Titanium–Organic Frameworks

We introduce the first example of isoreticular titanium–organic frameworks, MUV-10 and MUV-12, to show how different affinity hard Ti(IV) soft Ca(II) metal sites can be used direct selective grafting amines. This enables combination Lewis acid titanium centers available -NH2 in two sizeable pores for cooperative cycloaddition CO2 epoxides at room temperature atmospheric pressure. The molecules heterometallic clusters adds up pool methodologies controlling positioning distribution chemical functions precise positions framework required definitive control pore chemistry.
