ABSTRACT Ameloblastoma is the most common odontogenic tumour as it usually does not form metastasis, considered benign with a locally invasive growth pattern and destruction of jaw surrounding tissue. annual incidence 0.5 per 1.000.000 people, higher incidences are found in Africa, China India comparison western countries. About 80% ameloblastomas located mandible, mainly third molar region, 20% maxilla, particularly posterior region. Unicystic ameloblastoma associated smaller relapse risk only type that susceptible for conservative surgery. Standar treatment today radical resection 1 cm margins. Recurrence range from 0 to 15% surgery including enucleation curettage recurrence rets high 55%. problem development metastasis transformation into ameloblastic carcinoma. Segmental adequate margins followed by reconstruction AO Plat ideal available. Dentoalveolar rehabilitation recommended all such patients improve final outcome Keyword: Ameloblastoma, Resection, Reconstruction
