چکیده

Seed health testing to detect seed-borne pathogens is an important step in the management of crop diseases. A study on detection and identification fungi was done using seeds finger millet (Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaetrn) accessions collected from different parts country. The research undertaken determine fungal associated with November 27, 2020 February 25, 2021 at National Agriculture Genetic Resources Centre, Khumaltar, Lalitpur. total 85 seed samples, country, were used for research. hundred each sample tested presence Deep Freeze Blotter method following International Rules Testing Association, 2001, based growth habit, morphology spores observed. One or more detected 65 out samples. Four pathogens, namely Bipolaris nodulosa, Alternaria spp., Cladosporium Pyricularia grisea identified. B. nodulosa spp. predominant most samples infection 42 (49.4%) 40 (47.05%) accessions, respectively. Hence, it highly recommended undertake focused economic significance fungi, while considering their impact effective strategies order enhance management.

Antagonistic potentiality of Trichoderma harzianum towards seed-borne fungal pathogens of winter wheat cv. Protiva in vitro and in vivo.

The antagonistic effect of Trichoderma harzianum on a range of seed-borne fungal pathogens of wheat (viz. Fusarium graminearum, Bipolaris sorokiniana, Aspergillus spp., and Penicillium spp.) was assessed. The potential of T. harzianum as a biocontrol agent was tested in vitro and under field conditions. Coculture of the pathogens and Trichoderma under laboratory conditions clearly showed domina...
