چکیده

The security of personal identities is a serious challenge in today's digital world, with so many daily transactions requiring secure solutions. use biometric characteristics the person presented as reliable solution to solve this problem. Indeed, effective, but it hides weak point which lies ability reproduce certain for fraud. To overcome point, we propose approach palmprints that relies on concept merging multiple features. these features will be extracted from multi-spectral images different spectra, allow extraction information under skin palm two spectrums sequentially times (T1, T2) instantly. instant fusion impossible replicate. used are grayscale. satisfy construction and system, kind patterns (palmprints), Compound Local Binary Pattern method, since method adds an additional bit each P bits coded by LBP corresponding neighbor local neighborhood, order build robust system. This feature descriptor, uses both sign tilt differences between central neighboring gray values. reliability proposed has been demonstrated Casia Multi-Spectral database. final experimental results show recognition rates vary 99% 100% left right palms.

Multispectral Palmprint Encoding and Recognition

Palmprints are emerging as a new entity in multimodal biometrics for human identification and verification. Multispectral palmprint images captured in the visible and infrared spectrum not only contain the wrinkles and ridge structure of a palm, but also the underlying pattern of veins; making them a highly discriminating biometric identifier. In this paper, we propose a feature encoding scheme...

Multispectral Palmprint Recognition Using a Hybrid Feature

Personal identification problem has been a major field of research in recent years. Biometrics-based technologies that exploit fingerprints, iris, face, voice and palmprints, have been in the center of attention to solve this problem. Palmprints can be used instead of fingerprints that have been of the earliest of these biometrics technologies. A palm is covered with the same skin as the finger...

Multispectral Palmprint Recognition Using a Quaternion Matrix

Palmprints have been widely studied for biometric recognition for many years. Traditionally, a white light source is used for illumination. Recently, multispectral imaging has drawn attention because of its high recognition accuracy. Multispectral palmprint systems can provide more discriminant information under different illuminations in a short time, thus they can achieve better recognition a...

Multispectral image fusion for illumination-invariant palmprint recognition

Multispectral palmprint recognition has shown broad prospects for personal identification due to its high accuracy and great stability. In this paper, we develop a novel illumination-invariant multispectral palmprint recognition method. To combine the information from multiple spectral bands, an image-level fusion framework is completed based on a fast and adaptive bidimensional empirical mode ...

Highly Accurate Multispectral Palmprint Recognition Using Statistical and Wavelet Features

Palmprint is one of the most useful physiological biometrics that can be used as a powerful means in personal recognition systems. The major features of the palmprints are palm lines, wrinkles and ridges, and many approaches use them in different ways towards solving the palmprint recognition problem. Here we proposed to use a set of statistical and waveletbased features; statistical to capture...
