Second-tier cities of creative reindustrialization: Search for insights

چکیده

This article contributes to the development of concept second-tier cities. In this study, it is proposed identify cities based on performance indicator creative industries. To do this, DEA industries calculated for full list in Kemerovo, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk Oblasts, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and Altai Krai, its clustering carried out using t-SNE machine learning method (t-distribution stochastic neighbor embedding). The results study show a cluster close administrative centers (unambiguous leaders key socio-economic indicators) that can take role core cities: Nizhny Tagil, Magnitogorsk, Miass, Novokuznetsk, Biysk, Surgut, Kogalym, Nizhnevartovsk. analysis dynamics resulting makes possible feature Nizhnevartovsk Surgut. Comparing obtained with distribution according Zipf model (by population, aggregated revenue, fixed assets wages), authors conclude allocate indicators Thus, confirmation thesis about importance factor conditions new industrialization.
