Second Harmonic Generation Induced by a Surface Plasma Wave on a Metallic Surface in the Presence of a Wiggler Magnetic Field

Under the influence of a wiggler magnetic field, phenomenon second harmonic generation at metal–semiconductor interface, induced by surface plasma wave (SPW), has been investigated. Metals like Cu, Ag, and Al, each with thin layer n-InSb over it, are considered for our study. Laser light is incident on metal layered glass prism in attenuated total reflection Kretschmann configuration (ATR), which generates SPW. The SPW further interacts nonlinearly electrons n-type semiconductor metal, leading to (SHG). presence an external field makes process resonant helps phase matching. Relatively more enhancement amplitude observed Cu-InSb as compared Ag-InSb Al-InSb. Numerical analysis shows that SHG increases intensity field.
