The development of science contains an invitation to humankind think, read the universe, and contemplate all secrets contained in His creation. Scientific cues Qur'an show evidence Allah's oneness infinite power. There is not a single creation Allah that useful or useless, including phenomenon wave terms Qur'an. This term intended as negative connotation, causes extraordinary frightening destructive research on waves from Qur’anic perspective with thematic approaches. results this study that: first, sea are called word al-mauj (الْمَوْجُ) their derivation repeated 7 times Surah Yunus [10]:22, Hud [11]:43, Al-Kahf[18]:99, Hud[11]:42, Lukman [31]:32 Al-Nur[24]:40 which means اج البحر (moving water) water up down, then used القوم (group movement) they dispute over affairs problems, الحق (movement right). refers two meanings: movement seawater letters Al-Nur[24]:40, second carried out by group letter. Gog Magog. Second, can be proven scientific studies, vibrations propagate several layers cause waves, influence wind driving force presence internal (deep sea) waves.
