Scrutinizing Learning Management Systems in Practice: An Applied Time Series Research in Higher Education

This study examined the use of Advancity Learning Management Systems (ALMS) and Moodle (LMS) in learning settings, as well online exams, within framework Transactional Distance Theory. With 146 college students (nfemale = 102, nmale 44) voluntary participants, data was gathered through an questionnaire. A time series design used for two different LMS sessions, participants who voluntarily participated ALMS sessions were matched. The findings revealed that while both receive relatively similar assessment ratings scored better terms setting. When factors Evaluation Scale (LMSES) based on Theory compared, dialogue autonomy significantly higher than ALMS. exams there no significant difference between LMS, reliability factor a determinant indicator other factors. As result, assessing using choices should be how characteristics address institution’s demands.
