چکیده
Quorum sensing (QS) is a process that enables bacteria to communicate using secreted small pheromone-like signaling molecules called autoinducers (AIs). This population of regulate gene expression collectively. These quorum systems regulates biofilm formation, virulence factors expression, bioluminescence, motility patterns, exopolysaccharide production, antifungal or antibiotic endoglucanase pigmentation, competence, plasmid conjugal transfer and cross-signaling between strains species. P. aeruginosa an important very dangerous opportunistic pathogen causing many fatal infections in patients with serious medical conditions. associated nosocomial mainly immunocompromised patients, it rated the third-most-common microorganism hospital-acquired representing about 10-15% recorded globally. Moreover, qRT-PCR revealed significant reduction genes inhibitors-treated comparison untreated bacteria. Virulence inhibitors could play role Pseudomonas sensing-dependent production such as therefore affect its pathogenesis host.

Screening for novel quorum-sensing inhibitors to interfere with the formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm.
The objective of this study was to screen for novel quorum-sensing inhibitors (QSIs) from traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) that inhibit bacterial biofilm formation. Six of 46 active components found in TCMs were identified as putative QSIs based on molecular docking studies. Of these, three compounds inhibited biofilm formation by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia at a...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram negative pathogenic bacterium involved in many human infections including otitis, keratitis, pneumonia, and diabetic foot ulcers. P. aeruginosa uses a communication system, referred to as quorum sensing (QS), to adopt a group behavior by synchronizing the expression of certain genes. Among the regulated traits, secretion of proteases or siderophores, motility an...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that causes serious human infections. The study of quorum sensing (QS) and its relation to various virulence factors among Pseudomonas clinical isolates could play an important role in eliminating its pathogenicity. C12HSL and C4-HSL are the key regulatory QS signals in P. aeruginosa. In the following study, QS signals and virulence factors; e...
متن کاملTranscription of quorum-sensing system genes in clinical and environmental isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Quorum sensing (QS)-based transcriptional responses in Pseudomonas aeruginosa have been defined on the basis of increases in transcript levels of QS-controlled genes such as lasB and aprA following the hierarchical transcriptional increases of central controllers such as the lasR gene. These increases occur at high bacterial concentrations such as early-stationary-phase growth in vitro. However...

Quorum sensing (QS) is a process of cell-cell communication in bacteria by the use of signalling molecules that bind to the receptor protein and directly or indirectly affect transcription and translation. QS proteins may be used as a drug target for the inhibition of signalling pathway to control bacterial cell population. In present study the QS protein LasR of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was used...
