چکیده

Advancement in green chemistry has increased the use of microbial hydrolyases various industries and chemical processes because high catalytic efficiency, specificity, cost-effectiveness eco-friendly nature. Bioconversion tannins such as tannic acid is achieved by tannin acyl hydrolase, also known tannase. It converts into glucose gallic catalyzing hydrolysis ester depside linkages acid. Tyrosinase monophenol O-diphenol oxidase a copper containing enzyme catalyzes oxidation tyrosine generates different types pigment melanin. Xylanases hydrolyze xylan its constituent sugar with help several debranching enzymes. Microbial strains isolated from sources were screened for these hydrolyases: Bhavnagar marine salterns (Bacillus megaterium BVUC_01 Bacillus licheniformis BVUCh_02); Okhamadhi Aspergillus versicolor; Spoiled/infected pomegranate (Xenoacremonium falcatum, two PGF1 PGF4, velezensisPGF2 Candida freyschussiiPGF3. The other laboratory maintained bacterial cultures namely, subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi used this study. Asp. versicolor Xen. falcatum (PGF1) produced all three enzymes (tannase, tyrosinase xylanase). B. licheniformis, megaterium, velezensis xylanase. (PGF4) PGF2 tannase PGF3 tyrosinase. While, showed only activity. freyschussii aureus did not produce any

Screening of Different Extracts from Artemisia Species for Their Potential Antimalarial Activity

The formation of hemozoin (malaria pigment) has been proposed as an ideal drug target for antimalarial screening programs. In this study, we used an improved, cost-effective and high-throughput spectrophotometric assay to screen plant extracts for finding novel antimalarial plant sources. Fifteen extracts with different polarity from three Iranian Artemisia species, A. ciniformis, A. biennis an...
