Screening of antigliadin and antitissue transglutaminase antibodies in patients with chronic plaque psoriasis: a case-control study

Background/aim: In this study, we aimed to investigate different types of celiac antibodies in psoriasis patients and see if the presence was associated with other variables. Materials methods: We included plaque who were followed up our dermatology clinic between February 2019 2021 added a healthy control group for comparison. The studied serum antitissue transglutaminase (tTG)-IgA, tTG-IgG, antigliadin antibody (AGA)-IgA, AGA-IgG. patients' records used note age, sex, pattern involvement, area severity index (PASI), hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, use methotrexate, biologic agents.
