چکیده
Abstract The current study aimed to screen glyphosate-alternative weed control methods in three perennial crops Greece. Field trials were conducted and repeated (2018 2019 2020) a citrus orchard ( Citrus clementina Hort. ex Tan), an olive grove Olea europaea L.), vineyard Vitis vinifera L.) under the randomized complete block design (nine treatments, four blocks). Glyphosate was applied (720 g ae ha ?1 ), (1,800 ). Pelargonic acid (1,088 ; two times), barley Hordeum vulgare residues white mustard Sinapis alba evaluated all sites. Mowing (one time) (two times). Weed Control, Environmental Impact and Profitability of Two-Pass Weed Management Strategies in Glyphosate-Resistant Corn
Twelve field trials were conducted over a three-year period (2010, 2011, 2012) at different locations in southwestern Ontario, Canada to compare various two-pass weed management strategies in glyphosate-resistant corn for crop injury, weed control, environmental impact, corn yield and profit margin. No visible injury resulted from the herbicide treatments evaluated. One early postemergence (EPO...

Field experiments at Oakes, ND, USA in 2010 and Carrington, ND, USA in 2011 were conducted to evaluate the potential for cover crops grown in the Northern Great Plains, USA in order to reduce weed emergence and density in irrigated potatoes. Treatments included five cover crop treatments and three cover crop termination treatments. Termination of cover crops was done with glyphosate, disk-till,...

I n a world of more than 6 billion people, humans heavily rely on the dependable cultivation of the global food grain crops: rice, wheat, soybeans, maize (and cotton for fiber). History shows that threats to food production have major repercussions, including famine, war, and civil unrest. A major threat to food production occurs every single growing season, when wild plant species (weeds) infe...
