Screening for Cervical Polyp among Women Attending SalahAldin General Hospital

Background: Cervical polyps are the commonest cervicallesions, affecting up to 10% of women, witha reported recurrence rate 6.2%, they arise from endocervical canal or, less frequently, theectocervix, and vary in size 5 mm 50 mm. Symptomatic significantly more frequent inthe premenopausal while asymptomatic common post-menopausalwomen.Aim Study: Screening for cervical among women attending Salah-Aldin general hospital.Patients Method: A cross sectional study conducted outpatients clinic obstetrical ward SalahEl-Din hospital at period 1st March 2018 end August 2018. Simple randomsample (200) different ages were included.Results: 200 enrolled this with mean age them (27.30±6.8 years),the BMImean patients polyp was (30.2±2.1),4(40%) group between 26-35years. Patients withpolyps have ? 1 parity 9(9%) 1(10%) nulliparous.Conclusion: The frequency 5% no relation age, 60% patientswere healed.
