Satisfaction at work as a determinant of the mental health of electricians

Introduction The workplace environment influences employees’ health. Authors widely recognise job dissatisfaction as a workplace. Work satisfaction can influence psychological health statuses. Objectives We aimed to assess the impact of at work on mental electricians. Methods study concerned group electricians who agreed answer face-to-face interview concerning working conditions and status. Data was collected using pre-designed questionnaire that included socio-professional characteristics, 10-point scale satisfaction, Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K6) between January June 2022. Results Our 74 male mean age 39.3 ± 10.5 years. average tenure 15.5 11.2 score K6 5.4±4.8 (range = 0–22). proportion respondents with high levels distress (K6 13 or greater) 9.5 %. 7.7±1.8.
