چکیده
Chemical herbicides are the most common method of weed control in crops, but they can also negatively affect host such as wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). The damage caused to crop plants is often temporary and minor, sometimes, it be more substantial, requiring remedial measures. Salicylic acid (SA) a plant hormone widely used promote growth mitigate oxidative stress through its exogenous application. We evaluated role exogenously applied SA (as pre-treatment) ameliorating by herbicide mesosulfuron-methyl + iodosulfuron-methyl plants. disrupted physiological function affecting several enzymatic antioxidants. hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) malondialdehyde (MDA) contents increased at concentrations higher than 18 g ai ha−1 compared with untreated control. However, decreased H2O2 MDA that were not treated prior activity superoxide dismutase (SOD) polyphenol oxidase (PPO) enzymes increasing rates herbicide, well over time, regardless treatment. catalase (CAT) up rate then rates, while pre-treatment enhanced CAT activity. activities ascorbate peroxidase, glutathione-S-transferase generally response application pre-treatment, fluctuated across different days sampling following Herbicide induced high levels proline production leaves control, contents. Overall, mitigated functions regulating

introduction: farmers usually combine various herbicides with the aim of reducing the number of machinery passes across the field, preventing weed resistance to herbicides, and saving time and money. combination of herbicides is not only recommended for the management of herbicide resistance, but for increasing efficacy compare with a single herbicide application and expanding spectrum weed con...

متن کاملThe wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) leaf proteome.
The wheat leaf proteome was mapped and partially characterized to function as a comparative template for future wheat research. In total, 404 proteins were visualized, and 277 of these were selected for analysis based on reproducibility and relative quantity. Using a combination of protein and expressed sequence tag database searching, 142 proteins were putatively identified with an identificat...
