Safety Evaluation of Plain Concrete Lining Considering Deterioration and Aerodynamic Effects

With an increase in the service time of high-speed railway tunnels, various defects caused by construction-quality secondary lining begin to appear. How evaluate safety such tunnels and take countermeasures is very important for safe operation tunnels. Based on load-structure method a numerical simulation, this paper studied short-term long-term missing section anti-crack reinforcement mesh plain concrete mountain tunnel. The evaluation considered influence negative pressure aerodynamic effects. combined surrounding rock deterioration fatigue damage results showed that under generated effects, minimum tensile factor defective increased 3.8%, while compressive decreased 7.9%. effects had little impact section. During evaluation, overall significantly, factors 59.4% 66.8%, respectively. calculation initial design do not meet requirements cannot guarantee Finally, two new strengthening methods galvanized steel mesh-short bolts corrugated plate-short were proposed strengthen lining, so as improve ultimate bearing capacity toughness structure.
