Safaricom Limited’s Mobile Money Services and Access to Trade Credit by Microenterprises in Nairobi City County Kenya

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact mobile money services on access trade credit by microenterprises in Kamukunji market, Nairobi City County, Kenya. specific objectives were; assess whether digital payment-buy goods application (till number), saving and loan product (mshwari), mpesa for business application, pochi la biashara have influence market. guided by; Technology Acceptance theory, Unified Theory use technology, Diffusion innovation Technology, organization Environment theory. employed a descriptive research approach targeted 4,080 registered Market, County as per Business Register 2021. sample size 351 microenterprises. A self-administered questionnaire study's primary data. Data analysis aided SPSS using both statistics inferential statistics. results were displayed through tables charts. findings demonstrated that, savings service, payment jointly explained 82 percent variation among businesses also established positive significant relationship between all independent variables concludes that Safaricom Ltd effect thus recommends other counties should strive embrace such payment, business, since they enhance businesses. There is need do further studies area related cost accessing under fintech firms huge data available assessing creditworthiness borrowers.
