A Case Report of Ruptured Superficial Femoral Artery Aneurysm

Single superficial femoral artery (SFA) aneurysm is rare and occurs in approximately 5 per 100,000 patients. Rupture is a rare complication in this aneurysm. In this case report, we present the diagnostic and therapeutic work up of a ruptured SFA aneurysm of the right lower limb in a 75-year-old diabetic man with ischemic heart disease. Ruptured Distal Accessory Anterior Cerebral Artery Aneurysm: A case report and literature review.

Aneurysms of the distal anterior cerebral artery (dACA) are rare, consisting only 2-6% of all intracranial aneurysms. dACA aneurysms are often associated with anomalies such as azygous, bihemispheric and triplication of ACA. Among these anomalies accessory anterior cerebral artery (accACA) is an anatomical variant found in 3.3% to 15% of the population. Here we report a case of a 60-year-old fe...

Nontraumatic Pure Acute Subdural Hematoma Caused by a Ruptured Cortical Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm: Case Report and Literature Review

Nontraumatic or "spontaneous" acute subdural hematoma (SDH) is rare, and "pure" acute SDH without subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) due to aneurysmal rupture is extremely rare. We report a case of nontraumatic pure acute SDH caused by the rupture of a cortical middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysm. A 43-year-old man with no antecedents, except hypertension, presented to the emergency department wit...
