Rumah Kutai Perak in Watercolor Painting

This study is done to write an article related the art exhibition for "Kami SI + SA" entitled Rumah Kutai Perak and identify systematic process of artwork making. artwork's based on theory practice Ocvirk, Stinson, Wigg, Bone, Cayton (2009) who stated that contains three basic parts, namely subject, form content. Subject refers a person, thing or idea while elements principles design produce equal unity. On other hand, content message emotion in work, statement, expression feeling desired by artist read observer. As result artwork, "Artwork Making Process Flow" has been identified. The flow begins with identifying subject idea, followed capturing through photography. Photography record involved four important factors, such as viewpoint, light shadow, focal point, photo quality. These factors are because they will affect final work. next paint draw. technique identification, colour value application, medium choice reference artists served guides researcher throughout making process. After work completed, statement was written describe artwork. informs be conveyed brief description process, sources ideas, principals processing. It hoped this can used same context.
