چکیده

In 2011 a tsunami over 20 meters high struck Japan's northeastern coastline. Along with causing close to 20,000 deaths, it destroyed many buildings, leaving behind landscape of ruins. the years since disaster, various groups in Japan have interpreted these ruins as way work through “what went wrong.” Some pointed local officials’ failure properly prepare for well form economic development that they had promoted. Others, however, particularly state officials, argued failed reveal something can be used stimulate recovery and legitimize further development. Ironically, mobilized debris “progress” advance progress itself, complicating theories recent “counter-sites.” This shows actors construct leverage truth content support very ideologies processes caused their ruination first place.
