چکیده
Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate anatomy and morphology of mandibular permanent molars using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in a selected Iranian population. Methods Materials: CBCT images 638 first second (322 males 316 females) were included this vitro study. Number roots root canals, Vertucci’s configuration each root, radix paramolaris (RP), entomolaris (RE), C-shaped canals determined both genders. Data analyzed by Pearson-Chi square test SPSS (V.22) software (P = 0.05).Results: The most common distal type I for Among 266 molars, 97.3% teeth had two roots, 0.75% RP 1.87% RE. All RE I. found 1.12% all male population, significantly at the left side (P=0.045). 372 94.08% 0.53% 0.26% prevalent canal mesial was III (52.96%) with significant difference between right (P=0.006) (P=0.049). 5.64% more specifically detected group. Significant observed genders (P=0.024) (P=0.009).Conclusion: II configurations while predominant RE, RP, channels not population their prevalence higher among population.

Evaluation of mandibular premolars root canal morphology by cone beam computed tomography
Introduction: To achieve a successful endodontic treatment, the clinician has to identify the different canal configurations.mandibular premolars have the wide variety of root canal morphology and they are known as the most difficult teeth to treat in endodontics.CBCT provides a non-invasive 3D confirmatory diagnosis as a complement to conventional radiography. The aim of this study was to...
