چکیده
Background: The appropriate treatment for patients with blunt abdominal trauma depends on the precise diagnosis of presence and severity intra-abdominal injuries. Laparotomy, however, has remained management choice in certain situations following such as who have free intraperitoneal fluid uncertain origin, signs indicating intestinal ischemia caused by mesenteric bleeding, hollow viscus perforation. objective study is to determine role diagnostic laparoscopy injuries.Method: A prospective was conducted general surgery department Sree Mookambika Institute Medical Sciences, kulasekharam, Tamil Nadu., a tertiary care center including all abdomen underwent during time period from June 2019 December 2020.Results: 27 males 3 females were selected this study. most common mode injury vehicle collision. Out 30 laparoscopies,12 had solid organ injury, 5 bleeding no 2 vascular small bowel There findings 7 patients. Laparoscopy converted open Laparotomy Therapeutic done 20 patients. Conclusion: can play an important penetrating hemodynamically stable Low missed rates, reduced duration hospital stay, faster recovery cost make it attractive safe alternative classical laparotomy.

While laparotomy is the standard of care in hemodynamically unstable patients, stable patients are usually treated by non-operative management (NOM), incorporating adjuncts such as interventional radiology. However, although NOM has shown good results in solid organ injuries, other lesions, namely those involving the hollow viscus,...
