Robust Output Feedback Control of the Voltage Source Inverter in an AC Microgrid

This paper presents the mathematical model and control of voltage source inverter (VSI) connected to an alternating current (AC) microgrid. The VSI used in this work was a six-switch three-phase PWM inverter, whose output voltages were controlled synchronous (dq) reference frame via sliding mode strategy. strategy required only voltages; other states system estimated by using high-gain observer. power-sharing among multiple inverters achieved solving power flow equations electrical network. stability analysis showed that error ultimately bound case real and/or with nonlinear load microgrid simulated SimPowerSystems Toolbox from MATLAB/Simulink. simulation results show effectiveness proposed scheme. regulation bounded for linear load. Later, also included network shown remain bounded. system.
