Robust Nonlinear Control Design for the HVAC System Based on Adaptive Sliding Mode Control

Control of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) aims to provide a comfortable environment for human life in terms temperature humidity improve indoor air quality. The HVAC system is multi-input multi-output, where the control design this challenging due its strong nonlinearity coupled influence both controllers on within thermal zone. aim study dual-controller system. first controller non-linear feedback which devoted ratio zone with desired characteristic. While second one, robust designed maintain based adaptive sliding mode (ASMC). Using ASMC enabled us without need know uncertainty bound model. Additionally, stability proposed was verified using Lyapunov theory. To construct variable control, error state difference between zoon value derivative needed. Due derivative, differentiator approximate classical (ACSMD). Finally, performance confirmed via numerical simulation. results showed ability make area follow required values high accuracy.
