Robust fuzzy observer‐based fault‐tolerant control: A homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function approach

In this paper, a homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function (HPLF) is employed in robust observer-based Integrated Fault-Tolerant Control (IFTC) of nonlinear systems modelled by the fuzzy model (PFM). This makes design problem benefit from conservative reduction property functions (PLFs) and simultaneously avoid emergence non-convex terms due to differentiation matrix. As result, less sum square (SOS) conditions are obtained form matrix inequalities (PMI), which solved via SOSTOOLS. For first time, non-quadratic used unknown-input observer that estimates system's states actuator faults presence uncertainties external disturbances. The effectiveness proposed approach providing more relaxed results along with better fault tolerance illustrated through three simulating examples compared quadratic (QLF) approach.
