Risk Mitigation Strategies in the Tomato Supply Chain

Tomatoes produced by smallholders in the summer season Uzbekistan provide a significant part of population’s demand for tomato products. However, production is based on principles free market economy and operating at high risk. The paper aims to assess reduce level risks associated with infrastructure, financial, natural environmental, farm management political changes among entities smallholder supply chain. Uncertainties related producer, buyer, finance, are taken into account assessment risk levels. These threats were assessed using Fuzzy Linguistic Quantifier Order Weighted Aggregation (FLQOWA) model. obtained results showed that arising production, cooperation, infrastructure financial issues was high.
