Abstract Background Anastomotic leakage (AL) is still the most annoying postsurgery complication after colorectal resection due to its serious complications up death. Limited data were available regarding differences in AL incidence, management, and consequences for different types of resection. The aim present work was evaluate incidence AL, postoperative complications, length hospital stay a large number patients who underwent elective management lesions. In addition detect when what type reoperation occur Patients All 250 included surgeries with performance primary anastomosis neoplastic non-neoplastic diseases period between May 2016 July 31, 2021.
