Introdução: Pacientes oncológicos possuem estado pró-trombótico em virtude da presença neoplásica. Para a administração de drogas no processo tratamento, esses pacientes se submetem ao uso dispositivos como cateteres centrais inserção periférica (PICCS) que são comumente associados geração Trombose Venosa (TV) nesses indivíduos. Objetivos: avaliar o PICCS pode influenciar eventos tromboembólicos com diagnóstico neoplasias. Metodologia: Trata-se uma revisão integrativa na base dados PUBMED utilizando os descritores “Thrombosis AND catheter central (neoplasm OR cancer)’’ para artigos publicados entre 2018 e 2023. Resultados: O está relacionado TV até 51% dos casos. Esse dispositivo possui mais risco venosos sistemas (PORTs). podem estar assintomáticos 46,7% das vezes quando desenvolvem TV.
