چکیده
Context. A Rieger-type periodicity of 150–180 days (six to seven times the solar rotation period) has been observed in Sun’s magnetic activity and is probably connected with internal dynamo layer. Observations Rieger cycles other solar-like stars may give us information about action throughout stellar evolution. Aims. We aim use Sun as a star analogue find on using Kepler data. Methods. analyse light curve Sun-like KIC 2852336 (with period 9.5 days) wavelet generalised Lomb-Scargle methods periodicities over timescales. Results. Besides days, power spectrum shows pronounced peak at 61 (about six less 40–44 days. These two periods correspond can be explained by harmonics magneto-Rossby waves The theoretical properties lead estimation field strength 40 kG inside star. Conclusions. used probe solar-type different phases Comparing estimated corresponding values, we conclude that ratio Ω/ B D , where Ω angular velocity field, same for Sun. Therefore, conserved during evolution, which consistent earlier observations younger are more active.

Discovery of Solar Rieger Periodicities in Another Star
The Rieger periods are solar cycles with a time scale of months, which are present in both flaring activity and sunspot occurrence. These short-term periodicities, tentatively explained by equatorially trapped Rossby-type waves modulating the emergence of magnetic flux at the surface, are considered a peculiar and not yet fully understood solar phenomenon. We chose a stellar system with solar c...
متن کاملKIC 2856960: the impossible triple star
KIC 2856960 is a star in the Kepler field which was observed by Kepler for 4 years. It shows the primary and secondary eclipses of a close binary of period 0.258 d as well as complex dipping events that last for about 1.5 d at a time and recur on a 204 d period. The dips are thought to result when the close binary passes across the face of a third star. In this paper we present an attempt to mo...
متن کاملSolar-like oscillations in a massive star.
Seismology of stars provides insight into the physical mechanisms taking place in their interior, with modes of oscillation probing different layers. Low-amplitude acoustic oscillations excited by turbulent convection were detected four decades ago in the Sun and more recently in low-mass main-sequence stars. Using data gathered by the Convection Rotation and Planetary Transits mission, we repo...
متن کاملAsteroseismic modelling of the two F-type hybrid pulsators KIC 10080943A and KIC 10080943B
Context. Pulsating binary stars are ideal targets for testing the theory of stellar structure and evolution. Fundamental parameters can be derived to high precision from binary modelling and provide crucial constraints for seismic modelling. High-order gravity modes are sensitive to the conditions near the convective core and therefore allow for a determination of parameters describing interior...
متن کاملAsteroseismic modelling of the solar-type subgiant star β Hydri
Context. Comparing models and data of pulsating stars is a powerful way to understand the stellar structure better. Moreover, such comparisons are necessary to make improvements to the physics of the stellar models, since they do not yet perfectly represent either the interior or especially the surface layers of stars. Because β Hydri is an evolved solar-type pulsator with mixed modes in its fr...
